39th session of the FAO Regional Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean

The 39th session of the Regional Conference will be held in Brasilia, Brazil, with a Senior Officials' Meeting from 2 to 3 March and a Ministerial Meeting from 4 to 6 March. The Regional Conference will bring together government officials from FAO Member States, including Heads of State, Ministers of Agriculture and other Ministers, representatives from UN agencies and specialized agencies, intergovernmental organizations, civil society organizations, private sector organizations, academia and research institutions, parliamentarians, observers, and non-member States. Furthermore, the high-level policy discussions on agri-food systems at the Regional Conference have attracted the attention of institutions recently partnered with FAO's work in the region, including regional and international development banks and international financial institutions.
